Canadian Forest Service

The Canadian Forest Service was in need of a identity mark that could serve the department in a less formal capacity than its official Government of Canada mark. Adrian Jean Creative was contracted to develop this mark along with some accompanying collateral supporting the new style. The design incorporates styled visual metaphors for different types of trees, and the symbol of Canada, the maple leaf. The encompassing shape of the mark alludes to a "whole-forest" approach to the organization's activities. Taking in to account the environment as well as the forests within. The mark is still in use in its capacity as a secondary identifier for the organization.
